Guts and grit
There’s nothing like the gift some people possess to live their life to the fullest no matter the bumps and twists they encounter along the way!

Propane regulator and altitude
I’ve been told that at altitudes above 8000ft standard RV propane regulators act up. Not sure if that’s the case but we did have issues with our furnace in Flagstaff. Not once since.

Critical thinking
How do you know it’s 5 degrees warmer under your black canopy? Did you measure temperature under identical weather conditions, at the same time of day, with the canopy in the same position relative...

I’ve not kept as accurate a log as you have simply because it becomes kind of meaningless to quote figures to the second numeral after the decimal point unless you include driving conditions (speed,...

Heat absorption
Black or dark blue, not sure heat absorption will be that different. Also, there are so many points of entry for heat (windows, air leaks), that at some point it doesn’t matter. Like cooking an egg...

Respect
Pardon my French (I do speak it), but there’s no freaking way that truck would stay where it is if i was their neighbor. If they decided to leave it there...well, no telling what would happen to it...

Thor Citation
Why bother complaining on this forum? Nothing we can do about it. Like Ducks said sell it and forget it because you’re not going to get more for it next year and the fixes won’t happen on their own....

Lino flooring
I had a bolt pop up under the lino floor. It was “warranty repaired” by cutting the vinyl, tightening the bolt (could not be done from the bottom) and gluing the vinyl down. The repair wasn’t done...

Newbie service tech
The new service tech that accepted to do warranty work on a motorhome I had purchased elsewhere almost got fired for accepting my vehicle. To their credit they did the repairs but I think I waited...

You don’t want the generator to suck your tank...
You don’t want the generator to suck your tank dry so you can’t get to the nearest gas station. 25% is right. That would leave you enough for 75 miles. 10% would be 30 miles and a bit tight. I’m...

Weight and roof
I crawl on mine when I get up there. I’m not really concerned about the weight itself but more so about psi and TPR membrane damage. I would not do it. Watch out for that ladder. It may not be...

Lack of clarity
“The Sprinters do start running out of breath above 60 mph.”
There’s plenty of roads in the US where the speed limit is 75-80. Some where there is no speed limit. I’m not saying I drive 80 mph all...

Awol op
It drives me nuts to read posts that get diligently answered by knowledgeable motor home owners only to see the original writer go awol. I wish these people would just Google their questions.

The smallest influence comes from the fact that the electrons have to be redirected. As the mean free path of electrons in a wire is of the order of just a few atoms, and the drift speeds more in...

Boondocking
I can’t wait to go boondocking, away from the crowds and the noise so I can listen to someone’s generator running 8 hours/day. Gimme a campground every day day of the week and twice on Friday.
