My ACE 30.1 also has the fresh tank under the bed. My drain valve is near the water pump in the utilities bay. It is a ring that you pull up about 1/2" and the tank will drain.

As a word of caution, I think that the slide only seals well when it is either in or out all of the way. On my Ace 30.1 , I see day light in spots when only closed part of the way.
