Can you please explain bypass? I did not see anything in the owners manual about a bypass mode. So not sure how to determine that.

A fuse behind the face plate makes sense. We will try to see if that comes off. We saw the fuse on the circuit board, if, I think you are talking about the fuse on the circuit board on the tankless...
