Same here ... with a family of 5, we dump the black tank nearly every day. Bathroom sink is piped to the black tank.

With my prior Jayco TT, I'd dump "maybe" twice in a 6-day trip.

I finished Stan's flexible pipe fix on my RV...

I finished Stan's flexible pipe fix on my RV today & it solved my leaks perfectly.

Not sure why the factory chose the zip tie contraption over something as simple as this in the first place....

Yeah .. in this case, the screw head in the picture is what's left in the extruded aluminum - it'll easily come off. It's what's left of it in the body that'll likely not be removable.

Exterior trim popping screw heads off ...

I was up on the roof replacing my sun-beat rubber antenna mast & my eyes caught this ... looks like the trim that joins the front cap to the sidewall got stressed & popped the screw head right off!...

As still working folks & parents of school-aged kids, we're infrequent low-mileage RV'ers ... like 3-wks a year if we're lucky. Regardless, family situations make RV'ing the best vacationing choice...

I just had to replace mine for similar reasons ... I went with this one & just swapped the top assembly at the swivel. I think its the factory OEM for the antenna anyway.
