As far as slides- all of my basement floors rotted in 2 years. Mine was one of the last built with plywood. They now use a fiberglass sandwich board. )575 a sheet.

They went from silicone to a different compound. I don’t use the same brand just the type. I keep some on hand for when doing the regular maintenance.
