About the only thing I can think of to mention on mine when it locked up was both times it happened I was on an adapter and charging the batteries from a 15 amp standard house plug on a GFCI circuit....

I would personally not trust either of those jacks if you have to crawl under the vehicle. Definitely need Jack Stand in addition to the bottle or scissor jack. A floor jack might even be better...
