Where our mice came in

In our 2015 24.1 I found a board pushed aside on the rear drivers side cabinet along the back wall above the bed, and lots of mouse evidence a few years ago. After digging around a bit, I found a...

We take a motorcycle and bike

Having gone through a similar thought process, we have a Suzuki Burgman 200 on the hitch and a tandem bicycle that fits inside if we take the motorcycle, or on the hitch if we don’t. The Suzuki with...

Finally made it out, and discovered an amazing place

We had been planning on exploring the Okanagan valley, following it from WA up into British Columbia, but since we can't cross the border, we decided to stay in Oroville for a longer time. Most RV...

Indeed. I would only note (as an owner of an Illinois EZPass, even though we are from WA), if it works for you, that’s all that matters. In my opinion, if $ 20 / month is an issue, don’t own a...

If you just walked in, you wouldn't really see anything. The left side of the RV dropped a bit wrt the chassis, so for example, you couldn't release the emergency break because it was up under the...

Interesting thread. We are also at 4 years with our 24.1. On the one hand, at 28k miles, it has been an absolute joy for us. Most of our mods involved handicapped access and room for a service dog....

Good post and responses

Well I for one really appreciate this post and the responses. Every time I go up the ladder I feel like I'm stepping on tin foil. I'm glad Pops is OK, but seeing the details of the failure is...

Horse stall mats

I went through 2 sets of plastic levelers - they broke if the surface below wasn't perfectly flat (why do you think I needed levelers in the first place?).

Someone suggested horse stall mats -...

What exactly is the difference between LT & C

We are near doing a very long trip, and the original Michelins of our 2015 Vegas 24.1 (E 350) are beginning to show some cracking. I would love to get a higher weight limit tire - and Michelin...

After checking both the suspension and the exhaust mounts, we simply had the tail pipe bent down a little bit to stop the rubbing. That was about 4000 miles ago, and it hasn't returned, so it appears...

And remember to watch for tree branches

We weren't paying enough attention last year - a road with lots of clearance, but a low-hanging branch that took out one of our cab lights. A cheap and easy fix, but I now pay much more attention...

While trying to see, the...
