Replacing a slide gearbox

Ryan, did you support the slide on the outside in any manner? I read a post on another brand trailer where they put supports under the bottom of the slide down to the ground. Thanks…John

That is a safety wire that should have been attached to the mounting box that is recessed in the ceiling. My new fan had the same wire. My mounting box had an additional screw just for that purpose.
