Storage compartment door leaks

I went to Lowes and got a self adhesive weather strip and replaced the old strip. We had a heavy rain last night and all is dry

Thanks,
I am assuming it is silicone on the roof and around the awning mount.
Is there another prrpduct that i should look for to seal with?

We have a 2010 Four Winds Chateau with the rear corner queen bed.
When it rains, we are getting water on the plywood under the mattress at the rear corner of the RV.
There is no sign of dampness...

What is a good gasket type to seal the big storage compartment on my 2010 Four Winds Chateau?
