Answer to my own question
I’m back! I put a vinyl cover on my tire (without a wheel) and have been carrying it on the roof ladder for about a thousand miles. So far, it’s doing just fine.

spare tire carrier
I have a spare tire, but not the wheel for the tire. I want to carry it outside. I can't carry it underneath the motorcoach. Can I carry it on the roof ladder?

Roof ladder
I agree. For my 2017 Thor Compass, with 40,000 miles, I have been on my roof maybe 4 times. It is cleaned and inspected by professionals.

I have been pleased with my 2017 Thor Compass. When I had a problem, concern or question, I called Thor and the employee answered my call with competence and professionalism.
