I believe the gasket is integrated with that type of fitting. It’s a compression cone. I would follow OldWEB’s advice and just replace it and be done with it. Any hardware store will have the part.

Great work!!! The bottom picture shows the fuse holder - the big red blob. It should have the amp of fuse written on it in magic marker. Mine had 2A. Replace the fuse and see if the lights work.
