The last thing to think about on this unit is to have an independent RV inspection done before any type of purchase. Yes they can be expensive but it may be worth the cost if you are still thinking...

Hi ech1973 That is what was discussed some time ago. That is the idea that it would allow water vapor to escape. Water should sheet off running down the shower wall into the shower pan during use....

I have to agree to walk away. Too many bad things to be fixed. You may not even know what else is wrong until it is too late. There are many more out there with little to no damage as this one has...
