Look at the connections for any signs of heating....

Look at the connections for any signs of heating. Do the straight blades show any sign of arching? Any plastic show signs of melting? If the plugs have screws take it apart have have a look inside.

30 amp extension cord is no problem. As stated it...

30 amp extension cord is no problem. As stated it sounds like loose connections. Is it an RV extension cord or a flat standard cord using an adapter?.
