With my 07.5 DRV and 16 when I received it I removed AL drawers flipped them over and applied a bead of LocTite PL3 Construction adhesive to where the drawer bottom is routed into the drawer sides. ...

Didn't think so! Staples could have been shot in at an outward angle and would have been fine. BUT not really the proper method!!!

If they had applied some PL LocTite Construction adhesive that method would have been just fine. BUT I am betting dollars to donuts there is NO adhesive.
