I had that worry too and FWIW... With HD Sumos on the front of our Axis, the ride was actually better e.g. less rough! One thought is, maybe eliminating bump stop contact?

I'm still quite happy with how mine is handling with just a trac-bar and alignment. Tail wag is slightly different than play in the steering wheel though they both can cause constant correction....
