We also didn't like the couch - it takes up far too much room, and isn't really comfortable. I suppose it makes sense if you need the extra bed.

The simplest mod we've done so far is also one of the most frequently used. Hopefully the attached picture works.

This is on a 2015 Thor Vegas 24.1
