On second thought, pink wire grounded or not shouldn't prevent power from the ignition ... must be somewhere in the switch over from shore power to ignition source ... Relays?

Great points Dr. Geek ... As it turns out the old radio didn't have the pink lock out in the harness and I "assumed" you only needed it for the DVD which I probably wouldn't use ... That's easy...
