We ended up buying a 2017 Axis 24.1 with a 2017 chassis today so this thread is a moot point (can't see a way to delete it or I would). Thanks for all the info. I'm sure I'll be posting a lot more...

Thanks Chance. According to the window stickers they're 2017 Thor model years with a 2016 Ford model year chassis. I'll definitely confirm it's an E450 with 6 speed.

I'm looking at a few 2017 Axis & Vegas 24.1's that are for sale and a couple are on a 2016 chassis vs 2017. I've searched here and online and can't find anything detailing any changes in the chassis...
