Well there's your problem. Wrong application for that solenoid.

Get a latching relay:

It's cheaper too.

That's not a latching relay that's normally used...

That's not a latching relay that's normally used with a battery disconnect switch. That type of solenoid is used to tie the coach and chassis battery banks together so the converter and alternator...

So you have both a chassis and a house disconnect switch?
The chassis disconnect switch works normally.
You replaced the "solenoid" for the house disconnect switch.
The house disconnect switch now...
