You can't edit a post after a period of time - so correcting is a bit of an issue.
The error was on both lines because all I did was a cut and paste since I got the same answer from both Anderson...

UntilI bleed off any water inside the check valves spits out water.

This mean you cannot leave the pump on without a screw in cap on the water inlet.
