Looks like that may do it. Mine is a 5W from Bass Pro but does not have the OBD connection just the cig lighter and direct battery. My unit will hold the battery at 2/3 charged in our coldest weather...

I connect it to the house battery which is under the entry steps then I place the solar unit in the south facing window. I could plug it in to the cig lighter for the cab but I prefer doing the house...

Since I don't have electricity where I store the RV I use a 5W solar that keeps it charged all winter. I do use a trickle on my boat and it really extends battery life.
