It's a shared 15 amp that I use just to keep batteries happy and run the fridge. Running to the basement or under the bed in the RV sounds like a PIA. A power strip sounds much easier.

Mine are electric brakes so I just leave the Curt out when unloaded. Otherwise they lock up as soon as I touch the brake pedal on the RV.

Yup I take the brake controller out of the loop when it's empty. That's a case where my Curt Echo Wireless works great. Just unplug from the string when moving around in a campground, etc.
