To stop this problem get an adjustable"regulator" not that cheapo restrictor. As mentioned earlier those restrictors reduce the "flow" not so much the "pressure". You can find a 3/4" adjustable regulator with hose fittings & a gauge online, they usually come preset at 55 psi which is a good pressure, provided the park has that high. Be sure to always put the regulator on the park spigot before your hose that way your rv & hose are regulated.
Saw a newbie couple put their "restrictor " at the rv, hooked up their hose, turned on faucet, which by the way had 85 psi, an hour later their hose looked like it had swallowed a football before it burst.
