Yep... They sat pretty much on top of the doghouse with the back of the tube buried into the dash... Had same on my 2000 Infinity...
Big gaping hole when you took it out.
Had a strap attached to RV and back of TV as I recall - had to remove the trim around it to remove for sure.
Since the op has 'compartments' on either side - may not be mounted that way. We'll see what the pictures show.
