We have the same problems when it rains. I have pulled out the control board and used a hair dryer to dry it out so it works. I have just added silicone gasket around the door and and also where the door meets the little compartment that has the control board. I wanted to remount the control board on its side, but my area is to small to do that. I will have to wait till the next rain to see if my control board stays dry.
