You might be able to fix the monitor issue more easily. I have had this same problem a few times. You can reach up under the dash from right in front of the center console and feel the wires. Then just run your hand up the wires to where they plug in and make sure they are tight. I can usually fix that problem that way with my ACE 30.3.
