It is really a personal choice. We have towed 4 down and currently tow via dolly simply because we didn't want to change back again (and spend lots of $$ to do so) and because the vehicles we have been dolly towing don't have a flat tow option.

There is no right or wrong answer - it is whatever you want to tow, provided that it CAN be towed. Not all vehicles are able to be towed behind an RV. It is best to find something you like and then look for the "Recreational Towing" section of the owner's manual to find out what the manufacturer says.
