Congrats and welcome.

Before choosing a tow vehicle you may want to consider how you will be towing that vehicle (dolly, four down)? For some toads it doesn't really matter (pretty much any FWD car that is four down towable can also be dolly towed).

I'll put my usual plug in for the Ford hybrid and plug-in hybrid models here (C-Max Hybrid, C-Max Energi, Fusion Hybrid, Fusion Energi, and Lincoln MKZ Hybrid). All are four down towable, front wheel drive (and thus can also be dolly towed). The Energi models are a bit heavier (C-Max Energi is ~3900lbs) but you can also plug them in at the campground and get 20+ miles for "free" (in quotes because the cost of electricity is usually included in the site rental).

We've had good luck with our C-Max Energi towing it for a good 2000 miles now give or take.
