Hey Rev, on my Axis there was no insulation inside the metal engine enclosure and not even carpet by the gas pedal. Talk about HOT! I cleaned the metal inside with isopropyl and then covered it with Hoodliner and aluminum taped the joints. Ahhh! Relief!
