We have an ACE, which I believe has the same doghouse. The doghouse is held down by 4 screws, so all you have to do is unscrew them and gently pry the doghouse up. It may have developed an affinity for the floor, but its not glued down or held by any other fasteners. I used a putty knife to help with a couple of spots and then it came right up.

After installing the deadening material, put the screws back in the doghouse and make sure they are through any of the material you installed. I covered the dog house screw holes with the hood liner and then cut slits for the screws to poke through. Then pushed the screws in so they were a little below the doghouse edge. The hood liner material then kept the screws in place. Made it much easier to find the holes in the floor. It looked like during installation Thor just set the doghouse and drilled into the floor - no special alignment or fittings to line up to.
