On the attached picture look at the window that would be above the sink. Just to the rear of that window is the stove hood vent to the outside


That’s the way it should be. Thor is saving $20 not to have that vent anymore!!! It costs hundreds to vent now as the microwave has to be removed and a hole cut in the sidewall and everything reinstalled.
