If you click on the first picture you will notice two things. First is that the original installer pretty much missed the wood with the lower center screw and this was done on the left side too. The other thing is that you can see that even with the LED model there is a gap between the black plastic and the red outside piece. I am pretty sure that this is how the moisture was getting into the fixtures. Hopefully the butyl rubber tape I used closed that gap and it is waterproof. Once that tape sticks, it really sticks so it is a good thing I will never have to replace the LEDs.
