Only drove to an inspection station so far and I did not find it annoying. You can always turn it towards the passenger more if it becomes a distraction as the mount turns easily to the right or left. The LCD monitor comes with a mount that has sticky tape or can be screwed down. I went with the sticky tape and it is very secure. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see the mount in more detail. As for image display, your options are one image (I used for rear camera with trigger), two images or four images.
