Back when I was in college, I had a Nissan pickup. I remember once stopping in a parking lot. Got back in to go and I wasn't going anywhere.... just spinning.
I got out and walked around. Bone dry pavement under three wheels, and a small patch of ice not much bigger then the tire under the 4th.
I hated that truck!
Collected myself, put her in neutral, pushed it back 6 inches or so, jumped back in and on my way no problem.
Some time before that one, I'd had a Chevy Luv 2WD truck (Isuzu made) that was small and light, with wide tires and it had limited slip diff. I could go places in that truck that friends with 4WD couldn't go...with their one front wheel and one rear wheel turning
