On my Windsport, I crawled underneath the front & looked up to make sure I had both sides unlocked.

Then I also tapped on the metal brackets to help break things loose. We had some extreme cold & I wasn't sure if it was maybe frozen a bit.

I still had to wiggle both sides to get it to eventually open.

I had to get the edge on one side & then was able to get the other side...Way harder than it should have been.

I lubricated it as best I could and worked it up and down about 40-50 times.

It's still too stiff, but at least I can open it now.

When I put my unit in for warranty work a month ago, I did list this as an item.

Will be interesting to see if they find a way to loosen it up.
