Front suspension arms pivot up reducing camber under compression. This tilting top of tire in toward the body means weight focuses on the inside of the tire. I'd guess, possible expected wear for bare chassis alignment vs. 90% or more of rated capacity. If weight also causes a toe-out condition, it could additionally add to the wear. Though Toe Out, seems to me, would be evident with handling issues.
On that note... After driving my Axis loaded ... my next "to-do" is alignment.
My previous E350 RV, back in 95 or so, handled similar but transformed into a great drive by correcting an unmatched spring condition and alignment with positive castor biased to better fit a full time weight of an RV.
