Rental MH

We would be very leary about buying a former rental motorhome. Here in California "motorhome rental packages/tours" are apparently sold to Europeans. It is my understanding that these nice people fly into San Francisco or Los Angeles, pick up a rental motorhome and start driving through California. The central coast appears to be very popular. We have met people from Germany, Belgium, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, U K and even China (not Europe, I know). Anyway, these nice folks are not used to driving large vehicles much less an 8 ton Class C and almost always need assistance backing in, hooking up, etc.

Further, Mr. Homer has a customer that routinely does body work/insurance work on motorhome through a local rental agency and it is appalling the stories we have heard.

Not only would I steer clear of buying a rental, watch out if you see one coming toward you! They are nice folks but they are not the best drivers!
