Motorhome Magazine has just published their 2018 Guide to Dinghy Towing. It is a listing of more than 70 towables and tells the requirements necessary to tow these towable vehicles. They have been publishing this list for many years and the lists ate available on line but I don't have the location. Should be able to google it.
Some cars are towable with very little prep, others require things be turned off, fuses be pulled, etc before towing, others must be towed on a dolly.
I have towed a Subaru for many years. Unfortunately, new Subarus are no longer towable.
