After decades of tent camping, SO and I finally made the leap and took possession of a lightly used 2015 Thor Windsport yesterday; our first experience with any sort of RV. Our plan (as of now, anyway) is to explore the opportunities and challenges of RV life for a while; with the fantasy of upgrading and retiring "on the road" in a few years.

Over the next few months be warned that we will have LOTS of questions; and hope the kind folks on this forum will keep us pointed in the right direction. We hope to soon be experienced enough that we can assist in answering questions for others. We are planning at least one "backyard camp-out" in the next few weeks to learn the systems and kinks of this unit; then a short getaway to test our skills. Soon after? Planning a 2000 mile RT to the upper Keys for a true break-in vacation in early May.

We are looking forward to hanging out with you guys online and perhaps meeting "somewhere down the road".
