C.W. strikes again
Well I just returned from the Thor service center in Walkarusa, In. A great experience as always, the tech did a fantastic job of redoing our black water dump valve and plumbing to get us more ground clearance in the rear. I can back in the drive now with room to spare.
Now the bad news, the class C service boss was doing a routine pressure test after the plumbing work when he found a leak. My nice new tank-less water heater has a hole in one of the copper tubes because C.W. didn't correctly winterize the coach when we picked it up. My wife and I both specified the coach be winterized on pick up and we were both assured it would be.
Obviously this isn't a Thor issue and when I just now called C.W. of Richmond, I'm told the general manager is busy and will call me back. Got a hunch I'm on the hook for $700 worth of water heater and install. At least Thor has agreed to cut me a nice discount on the water heater itself. This is the same C.W. that destroyed the power sunshade over the bunk because their "tech" didn't know it was powered and pulled it down by hand.
Will let everyone know IF I hear back from C.W.
