There is a BUNCH of wires on floor behind stairwell switches. Just remove bottom pantry drawer (drawer under washer). There are at least two inline fuses there - no standard fuse block. Since work was done recently in that area I bet you are close to a fix. Power to awning motors, awning lights, porch light, ceiling lights, generator, invertor, steps and a bunch more stuff is there.
