my gripe with my TPMS is the digital readout.
I'm also an engineer....and I find myself getting hung up in the digits
as in dang... the inner right tire is 0.1 psig lower than the outer right tire.... and the left rear tires are 1.2 psig and 0.9psig higher.
oh the chaos.....I hate it when that happens!

Personally, I feel that an analog display would a better fit for this application.
You could dampen out that resolution a bit to a more meaningful display

Other benefits of analog instrumentation....
easier to see trends developing
you can see at a glance if things are 'good' or not, without having to see the number & then think about the number
you can doing things like green arcs, yellow arcs, red arcs....

I'm thinking a bar graph display would be awesome!
