I would bet that power failed again during the night, un-noticed, and probably tripped a fuse or breaker you haven't yet found, or that inverter internal transfer switch. Unplug from shore power, power the inverter off, and kill all internal power with the use/store switch. Then start restoring things, and see if that may reset things to functional again.
