Finally changed the chassis battery and found it to be a Motorcraft group 65 instead of a Harris. Most likely that is why I never had any trouble with it. I would guess the stock Harris battery died and the dealer installed the Motorcraft. The new battery I installed is a sealed battery, so no watering kit needed. It is time to change out the house batteries also, but will probably need the kit on one of those especially the forward battery that is under the flg. of the step. That is if I can get a couple of group 27's that are not sealed.
