I wonder how hard taking cured Proflex off is going to be? I am thinking I might try DAP Dynaflex 230 which is easy to work with around the house and windows, but unfortunately it can take a week or more to fully cure depending on weather conditions and size of bead. Not sure how robust it would be on an RV.
The best thing to do to get a good line is wet your finger and use it to smooth it down... works great. As far as taking it off, it's not that difficult. I have found some that I missed and was able to remove it fairly simple.
