What is it you are trying to accomplish?? What is the size of the panel (watts)? A single panel may return small amounts of energy, but not likely enough to keep up with even minimal usage while boondocking... And any significant load using an inverter isn't 'minimal'...
Even 100W load (less than 1A at 110v) on that inverter will draw over 8A from your 12v supply.
