Made me think of the trip I made to Calgary on business many years ago. It was in the winter so I figured I’d take my skis and and get a day or two in. I called Lake Louise ski area to find out what the temperature was and the lady said, “It’s not bad, only minus 10”. I was getting ready to not take the ski’s and pack an extra couple of coats when it occurred to me that Canada uses degrees C, so -10 wasn’t all that bad. Cold, but still above zero (F). Had a great day on a world class moutain - and caught a women’s World Cup downhill race by coincidence.
