Update to my question from the manufacturer
As long as the sensor resides outside the Tire/wheel you will be fine.
There are hundreds of Sprinters rolling with our sealant.
Please make sure the tires are properly balanced prior to installation, particularly if they are Continentals.
We have seen issues with that brand of tire regardless of installation of sealant or not.
