Overhead Bed Problem
I am experiencing the same problem...also on a 2017 ACE 29.3. This sounds like it is an engineering/production defect. I wonder if Thor is aware of this situation. I have only had the bed down twice and on our 3rd try it exhibited the same symptoms you described.
