Has anyone installed the WeBoost 4G-X-RV in their Quantum. I'm very unhappy with the location the installer put it. Without asking me, he installed the inside antenna, coming out the outlet by the bed. Now the outlet won't stay flush, and the WeBoost does not appear to work at all.
First, the roof antenna and inside antenna are supposed to be more than 15 feet apart, which they are not.
Second, with the wall in the way, the signal can't reach the middle of the RV, which is where I would be using the phone or laptop (Dining room table or couch). This is more than the 6-10 foot range of the WeBoost.
Third, while the light is Green on the WeBoost, there is no boost to signal, even while holding my phone inches away. Only 1 bar outside the RV, and only 1 bar right next to inside antenna.
Was told he couldn't install by dining room table, or by sink, as the entire side was the slide.
Has anyone solved this problem and installed the WeBoost, or any WiFi booster on the slide side?
